Big Science Business Forum in the Netherlands
Big Science Business Forum (BSBF) is a business-oriented congress focused on high technology and innovation, with the aim of being the main meeting point between research infrastructures and industry in Europe. In 2026, Belgium and the Netherlands will host the fourth edition in the city of Maastricht (NL), following the successful editions in Trieste, Copenhagen and Granada, where more than 1,000 delegates from over 500 organisations and 30 countries gathered to discuss the future of the Big Science market.
BSBF is a unique opportunity for European businesses and organisations to stay fully informed and to get involved in calls and competitions worth billions of euros per year, managed directly by international Big Science Organisations (BSOs) under specific rules and procedures.
BSBF2026 in Maastricht: building bridges between science and industry
More than 1,200 participants are expected at BSBF2026, with strong representation from all major Big Science organisations and European research institutions (including CERN, ESA, ESO, ESRF, ESS, European XFEL, FAIR, F4E, ILL and SKA).
