With the fourth edition of the Big Science Business Forum in preparation, it is time to look ahead to the host of BSBF2028. This is your opportunity to bring European Big Science organisations together with industry in your region and position it at the heart of this unique ecosystem.

The call is now open and the documentation is available. An informative online session can be organised for interested candidates who would like to learn more about the requirements and process.

Timeline

• December 15th 2026: the call is published.
• February 2026: an introduction webinar to the BSBF2028 host call.
• May 4th 2026: the call is closed.
• June 10th 2026: interviews with the BSBF IOC - International Organising Committee.
• Before the end of June 2026: BSBF2026 will communicate the results to the bidders.
• October 29th 2026: passing of the torch ceremony during the closing session of
  BSBF2026 in Maastricht.
