Floorplan philosophy
The floorplan for the Big Science Business Forum 2026, hosted at the MECC congress centre in Maastricht, is designed to foster optimal interaction between Big Science Organisations and companies, following clear and structured guiding principles.
These institutions will be located at the heart of the exhibition hall, ensuring maximum visibility and accessibility. Associated Big Science Organisations will be placed in proximity of the core Big Science institutions.
Surrounding the central area, space will be reserved for national pavilions to create a strong country-based presence, as a second perimeter.
The outermost area will accommodate companies, projects, and other organisations. Companies from the same country will be grouped together and, where applicable, positioned near their national pavilion for maximum coherence and synergy.
Important note: All exhibition booths will be located in a single, shared hall to maximize visibility and networking. Booth placement is based on the order of reservation — early booking increases the likelihood of a position closer to the centre.
